A very relaxing day today. We went down for a full breakfast at 7:30. We then went and sat up on the sun deck for a few hours as we sailed through the beautiful Rhine Valley including many castles and the Lorelei statue & rock. The scenery is absolutely beautiful.

We had an early lunch commencing at 11:30 as we were to go ashore on a walking tour at 1:00. The ship docked beside another ship so we had to do a walk-through. We were greeted by a Tu-tu train that took us to the Music Cabinet – home to many very old mechanical musical instruments. After this we were left to find our way back to the ship which was very easy – just take any side street down to the river & turn left.

The ship sailed at 4:00pm just as afternoon tea was being served. E saw more interesting little villages along the river.
