An early start today with a 6:00am alarm. We had to have our
bags out by 7:30, have breakfast & be ready to depart at 8:30am. We had a
long drive ahead to Prague – 550km. We made 3 stops along the way including one
in Bratislava where we were provided with lunch at a hotel restaurant. We
arrived in Prague at 5:20pm. We had an hour to freshen up & have a cuppa
before assembling for welcome drinks and a vicinity walk. We headed off for our
walk a bit after 7:00.
It is amazing how alive these places after 6:00pm. We
walked down to the Old Town Hall and back arriving at our hotel about 8:30. It
is not in the best of areas with a cabaret club & massage parlour & a
brothel next door. All the touts are dressed in red with glittering white ties.
We went out to get some dinner before returning to the hotel to settle down for
the night.
