We had a bit of a later start today. As it was another very
hot day we decided not to do the walking tour but took the Tu-tu train to look
around. We saw different things to the others. We got to travel through the
back streets & went up to the castle which the others didn’t get to see.
The tour took an hour then we did a short walk around the town centre before
going back to the ship.
We had lunch on board and then at 2:00pm we boarded a bus to
go to a small village where we shared afternoon with a local family. We had a
walk around her garden which is amazing. She then served us with a lovely apple
tart & a cup of tea or coffee.

We went back to the ship and had a bit of a rest before
getting ready for the Captain’s cocktail party followed by the Gala Dinner. We
then were introduced to the crew after the Bomb Alaska parade. After a very
busy day we headed off to bed.
