Off to an early start today with a 6:00am wake-up call. Bags
had to be out by 6:45, breakfast at 7:00 then boarding the bus at 7:45. It was
a long drive to Lyon. We stopped for a morning tea break at 10:00 then
continued on stopping for lunch around 12:30pm.

More driving saw us arrive in Lyon at 3:30 for a guided tour
of old Lyon town & St Peter’s Basilique. The mosaics on the walls were
amazing.
We continued our sightseeing tour into little hidden lanes that opened
onto courtyards that were used by the French Resistance.

We finally arrived at the Hotel at 5:45pm. There was time to
have a shower before meeting the rest of the group for dinner at 7:30.
