Another early departure today for another long coach trip.
Once again we left at 7:45am. We stopped for morning tea & lunch along the
way and arrived at the country of Monaco at 3:30 after travelling through the
Cote d’Azur. We had a look at another Cathedral and continued on to the Palace
of the Grimaldi family – the residence of the Prince of Monaco. We were not
allowed to take cameras in or take any photos.

We wandered around for about an hour before heading back to
the coach for the final leg of the journey today to our hotel. The hotel was
changed as the Hilton had a problem with the a/c. We arrived there about 6:45
& met for dinner in a private dining room 7:30pm.
Bastille Day activities are taking place in the square right
opposite the hotel. The firing of the cannon & fireworks took place
at 10:00pm.
