Vienna 8 August

We docked in Vienna around 2:00am. After breakfast we set out for a bus tour around the old city of Vienna. Following this we did a one-hour walking tour ending up at St Stephens Cathedral. We then had 2 hours to fill in before heading back on the bus at 1:00.

We spent the afternoon relaxing as it was too hot to go out walking around (37C). It was unfortunate that we didn’t get to visit the new Vienna on the North shore of the river. It would have been nice to see the comparison of high rise buildings with the old town.

Dinner was early tonight as the Discover More tour to the Vienna Concert was departing at 7:30. We attended the Port Talk at 5:45 but didn’t go down to dinner until later. We are due to leave port at 1:45am.
