We arrived in Kelheim this morning about 6:00am. This was
where the Discover More group were disembarking for their tour. Once they had
disembarked we continued on to Regensberg where our ship would dock. We had a very quiet day on board as we arrived in Regensberg around 1:30pm.

Our guided
tour began at 3:00. We met our guide on the dock before walking into the city
centre where we explored the old town then had free time. We saw the historic
sausage kitchen on the banks of the Danube and then had a look in the old salt
house. We also saw the remains of an old Roma wall that has gradually beentaken
apart.
As we were staying overnight in Regensberg we could go back into town in
the evening.
Tonight was the last we would spend on board the Emerald
Star so we said a sad goodbye to the wonderful staff we had travelled with so
far. They paraded around the buffet area to loud cheers & ovation. We then had an Oompah Band on board for entertainment.
